Scopus is a powerful search tool, with a lot of options. Yet it was lacking a clear flow: All interface elements were displayed similarly with equal prominence. This made it very hard to navigate the site and use its full potential.

In project Declutter we redesigned the complete interface to provide a clear hierachy, both visually and dynamically: Helping users in their workflow using visual hierarchy and only showing functions when relevant.
The new interface was released in honor of Scopus’ ten year anniversary.

Overseeing the development of the other pages and creation of a styleguide.
